NOON is a UAE-based instrumental trio whose music reflects the country’s cosmopolitan and borderless cultural landscape. Bringing together musicians from diverse cultural and musical backgrounds, the group creates a distinctive sound that blends the oud with electric bass, drums, and the improvisational spirit of jazz. Rooted in dialogue between traditions and contemporary influences, NOON’s music draws on funk grooves, African and Indian rhythmic traditions, and electronic textures to create rich, genre-defying compositions. The result is a dynamic and globally resonant sound that reimagines the possibilities of cross-cultural musical exchange while remaining deeply connected to the region.
