After You, Madame? is a Paula Comitre’s contemporary dance show performed by flamenco dancer Florencia Oz that revisits the legacy of the iconic Spanish performer Antonia Mercé, ‘La Argentina’. Through movement, gesture, and rhythm, Florencia explores how flamenco heritage is passed down, transformed, and reinterpreted through the body of a contemporary female performer. Moving between homage, distance, and reappropriation, the work reflects on the relationship between tradition and reinvention. Recognised for her elegance, strength, and technical precision, Florencia Oz is one of the leading emerging voices in contemporary flamenco, with a growing international career spanning major stages, productions, and festivals.
