A cohesive one-hour programme bringing together three UAE-based women artists working across field recording, modular synthesis, live voice, electronic composition, looping, and improvisation. Conceived for Mina Zayed, the programme connects distinct artistic practices through sound, place, and live process. The format is performance-led, suitable for the Biennial’s open public programme and contains no talk component. Safeya Alblooshi’s set, Mina Signifiers, is directly grounded in the site through field recordings made in Mina Zayed and transformed through modular synthesis. The wider programme extends this attention to live process through voice, electronics, looping, and improvisation.
