The ‘Archaeological Figurines’ workshop invites children and families to engage with the archaeological heritage of Abu Dhabi through a series of hands-on sculptural activities inspired by the forms found in the region’s ancient figurines. The workshop is conceived as an extension of Figurines, the public installation conceived by artist Iván Argote for the Public Art Abu Dhabi Biennial 2026. Participants will explore ideas of memory, materiality, and transformation while learning simple casting and relief-printing techniques.
